RUOK Day 2022

We recently held another R U OK DAY Event, and it was our biggest one yet! We had a massive turnout, with 38 freedivers joining us on a venture down to the South Coast of NSW – our crosshairs set on the stunning dive location, Narooma. Before hitting Narooma, we stopped off at many of the South Coast hotspots, including Bush rangers Bay, Kiama, Guerilla Bay, Mystery Bay and Tarthra. Getting in the water, the viz Gods blessed us for R U OK Day, yet again – reaching twenty metres, plus! Viz that good is almost unheard of on the East Coast. It couldn’t have been a better day, coming together for a good cause, and sharing the water with the Freediving Central Community, instructors, students, friends, new and old – it was unreal getting to dive with so many of you and enjoy an epic BBQ. Thanks to everyone who came and thank you to the FC community for being absolute legends – in the water, and out! We cannot wait to see you at our next annual R U OK social dive, and we have a feeling that the next one will be even bigger. Want to join the freediving community? Start your freediving adventure with a freediving course! We run courses in Sydney and on the Central Coast for freedivers of all skill levels. Contact us today and we’ll organise a course to have you freediving in no time!
