Meet Your Coaches

Elly Candi – Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Retreat Facilitator Elly is a Strength & Conditioning Coach, retreat facilitator, and co-founder of Fitventure Retreats. Elly brings 20+ years of performance experience—from competitive gymnastics to CrossFit to coaching thousands of clients across Australia. At this retreat, Elly will run us through all bootcamp, stretch, mobility, and functional strength sessions, designed to support your freediving technique, relaxation, and body awareness. Her approach mirrors the mental discipline of freediving: calm, grounded, focused, and high-performance without unnecessary intensity.

 

Dan Parsons a high-level coach an SSI Instructor Trainer, and director of Freediving Central One of Australia’s most active freediving instructors. Having taught thousands of students, worked with elite athletes (including Cirque du Soleil performers and big-wave surfers), and freedived in remote locations around the world, Dan brings deep technical expertise and a passion for creating confident, relaxed divers.

A Whether you’re starting out or chasing a PB, Dan specialises in helping divers feel safe, supported, and capable in the water.

This retreat is designed to help you move better, dive deeper, recover smarter, and leave feeling stronger, calmer, and more capable—both in and out of the water.
