The foundation of Molchanovs began with Natalia Molchanova, one of the most accomplished freedivers in history. She developed a complete education system for the Russian Freediving Federation, guiding students from their first breath-hold all the way to elite levels of performance.
In 2010, her son Alexey Molchanov — multiple-time world champion — began developing specialised freediving equipment, officially creating the Molchanovs brand. After Natalia’s passing in 2015, Alexey continued her legacy by building a new, modernised global education system inspired by her teachings.
