CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

• Freediving Central reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course, training dive, trip, or any activity at any time, including if minimum required numbers have not been met, weather conditions are not suitable, or if Freediving Central deems conditions are not safe to proceed for any reason.
• If Freediving Central cancels or postpones a course course we will provide you with alternate dates for you to attend. If the alternative dates are cancelled or postponed by Freediving Central for any reason, you will again be provided with alternative dates. The course must be completed within 1 year of your original course date.
• Freediving Central retains the right to change the planned course or diving location if Freediving Central deems the conditions are unsuitable or not safe for freediving. In these circumstances, if the participant chooses not to proceed with the dive in the new location, no refunds will be offered, and the deposit amount cannot be put towards another course date.
• Cancellation is not possible due to change of mind, or personal circumstances.
• All deposits are non-refundable.
• If a student or participant wants to reschedule their course date they must provide Freediving Central with at least one month’s notice in writing to our email address freedivingcentral@gmail.com. Freediving Central will provide you with additional dates available and you will have 12 months from your original course date to attend another course. It will be your responsibility to monitor the 12-month time frame and to ensure you book within that time frame. Please be aware if you wait to book during the 12^th month and for any reason, Freediving Central does not have availability, cancels, or postpones the course you will be at risk of loosing any amounts you have paid.
• If a student or participant wants to reschedule within one month of your scheduled course date you will be required to pay a rebooking fee of $100. This rebooking fee will be charged each time you reschedule a course if you are within the one-month period.
• If a student or participant wants to reschedule within the final week of your scheduled course date you will be required to pay a rebooking fee of $200. This rebooking fee will be charged each time you reschedule a course if you are within the one-week period.
• The course must be paid in full at least one week prior to the course commencement date. If you cancel your attendance during the week prior, have paid the full amount of the course, and choose not to rebook onto another date, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $100. You will be refunded any amounts owing minus the non-refundable deposit amount and the $100 cancellation fee.

COVID-19

• When booking a course, training dive, trip, event, or any activity with Freediving Central during the Covid-19 pandemic you are agreeing to and accepting the risks associated with booking during uncertain times, including financial risks.
• The health and safety of our staff, students, and participants is our main priority and Freediving Central will regularly and continually monitor the Covid-19 situation in all areas that we operate and all locations.
• Freediving Central adheres to Covid Safe Workplace Guidelines and has the right to make any changes or cancellations to all activities if we believe there is any risk to ourselves, our students or our participants.
• Freediving Central has the right to make any changes or cancellations they deem necessary based on government advice and as restrictions continually change and are updated.

TRIPS WITHIN AUSTRALIA

• Deposit amount must be paid at the time of booking to secure your spot.
• Deposit is non-refundable.
• The full amount of the trip must be paid at least 1 month prior to the trip commencement date.
• If a student or participant wishes to cancel their spot on a trip they must provide Freediving Central with at least 8 weeks’ notice in writing to our email address freedivingcentral@gmail.com. If 8 weeks’ notice has been given, Freediving Central will refund any amounts paid minus the non-refundable deposit amount.
• If a student or participant cancels their spot on a trip within 8 weeks of the scheduled trip date, no refund will be given.
• Freediving Central reserves the right to cancel or postpone a trip at any time, including if minimum required numbers have not been met, weather conditions are not suitable, or if Freediving Central deems conditions are not safe to proceed for any reason.
• If a trip has been postponed, Freediving Central are not required to refund participants and will provide you with alternate dates for you to attend. If the alternative dates are cancelled or postponed by Freediving Central for any reason, you will again be provided with alternative dates. The trip must be completed within 1 year of your original trip date.
• Freediving Central will not pay for flights or taxis.
• It is your responsibility to get to the location of the trip/retreat/camp.
• We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance at the time of booking.

OVERSEAS TRIPS

• Deposit amount must be paid at the time of booking to secure your spot.
• Deposit is non-refundable.
• The full amount of the trip must be paid at least 10 weeks prior to the trip commencement date.
• If a student or participant wishes to cancel their spot on the trip they must provide Freediving Central with at least 10 weeks’ notice in writing to our email address freedivingcentral@gmail.com. Freediving Central will do all thing necessary to advertise your spot. If the spot is filled Freediving Central will refund any amounts paid minus the non-refundable deposit amount. A refund is not guaranteed. 
• No refund will be given if you choose to cancel within 10 weeks of the scheduled trip commencement.
• Freediving Central reserves the right to cancel or postpone a trip at any time, including if minimum required numbers have not been met, weather conditions are not suitable, or if Freediving Central deems conditions are not safe to proceed for any reason.
• If a trip has been postponed, Freediving Central is not required to refund participants and will provide you with alternate dates for you to attend. If the alternative dates are cancelled or postponed by Freediving Central for any reason, you will again be provided with alternative dates. The trip must be completed within 1 year of your original trip date.
• Once booked on to a trip you must comply with payment plans within information packs and digital flyers. 2nd and 3rd payments are nonrefundable. 
• It is your responsibility to get to the location of the trip/retreat/camp.
• Freediving Central will not pay for flights or taxis.
• We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance at the time of booking.
• If a Vendor raises their prices while you are booked on to a trip, Freediving Central reserves the right to adjust prices to match the vendor.
• Freediving Central has the right to make any changes to trips, retreats, or camps including locations, accommodation, special guests, group sizes, and price. 

INSTRUCTOR COURSES

• If you become unwell during the instructor course or for any reason are unable to dive and complete the practical requirements of the instructor course, no refunds will be given.
• Freediving Central does not guarantee students or participants will be certified as a freediving instructor after completion of these courses. Certification will be dependent on the participant’s performance during the instructor course and all criteria and requirements. No refunds will be given if a student or participant does not qualify to be certified as a freediving instructor.
• All other Terms and Conditions are applicable to Instructor Courses including, but not limited to, terms and conditions involving rescheduling, cancellations, and trips within Australia and overseas.

GEAR HIRE

• If you hire gear from Freediving Central you must notify us at least one week prior to course commencement so that we can allocate sizes to you. If there is no suitable size available for you for any reason, Freediving Central will advise if there is any alternative option available for you.
• Gear hire must be paid for at least one week prior to course commencement.
• Any gear that you hire must be returned in the same condition it was given to you and returned by the agreed return date.
• Freediving Central regularly checks our gear to ensure it is in good condition and safe for student use. If the gear has been damaged, broken, or lost by you, outside of what we deem as reasonable wear and tear, you will be liable to pay for the cost and replacement of the damaged, broken, or lost gear. This payment must be made within 7 days of Freediving Central confirming the amount to be paid.
• If rental gear is not returned at the agreed return time then you will be required to pay additional charges for each day until the equipment has been returned. If you are returning the equipment by post we recommend you use Registered Post.
• You are not entitled to a refund for any unused equipment or gear that has been hired from Freediving Central.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

• You are required to complete a Liability Release Form and Medical Questionnaire Form before each individual course, training dive, trip or service that you participate in with Freediving Central. These forms must be completed and provided to Freediving Central at least 24 hours prior to commencement of the activity you have booked in for.
• If you answer “yes” to any questions on the Medical Questionnaire or a medical condition is noted on the form it is the participants responsibility to seek medical advice and medical clearance from a doctor prior to activity commencement.
• In some instances, Freediving Central may request for you to obtain and provide Medical Clearance from a medical practitioner in order to proceed with the course or activity.
• Freediving Central are not medical practitioners and do not claim to give medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or instructions. You are responsible for seeking independent medical advice before determining any relevance of information received for you individually.
• If you fail to gain medical clearance from a medical practitioner for a condition that is temporarily preventing you from participating in an activity with Freediving Central, you will be required to reschedule at your own expense, as per the normal rescheduling conditions.
• If you fail to gain medical clearance from a medical practitioner for a condition that is permanently preventing you from participating in an activity with Freediving Central, you will be entitled to a refund minus the non-refundable deposit as long as its out side the payment due dates. 
• Freediving Central reserves the right to refuse to provide freedive training or associated activities if they deem the safety or comfort of the individual, other students or the Freediving Central staff is put at risk for any reason.
• Course and training dive packages must be paid for upfront and the participant will have 12 months to use these. All other Terms and Conditions are applicable to course/training packages.

GIFT VOUCHERS

• Gift Vouchers must be used within 12 months of the purchase date and they are not exchangeable for cash.
• All other Terms and Conditions are applicable to bookings made by Gift Vouchers.

PRIVACY

• Freediving Central may request details from you including your full name, contact details, email address, date of birth and emergency contact details for the purpose of our courses, training dives, trips and activities. Your privacy is important to us and Freediving Central does not share or disclose any of this information with any third parties.
• This information may be used for Freediving Central to send out their newsletters or promotional emails. If at any time you wish not to be included on these mailing lists, please contact us at freedivingcentral@gmail.com.
• If you have written a review of/for Freediving Central sent this to us via email, social media, google review or other means, Freediving Central may publish the review on our website, social media or for promotional purposes.
• Any business, operator, company, partnership, collaborator, client or participant must request and receive permission from Freediving Central prior to taking any photos, videos or images of Freediving Central staff, Freediving Central clients and at any Freediving Central course, trip, event or any other activity.
• Any photos, videos or images of Freediving Central staff, Freediving Central clients and taken at Freediving Central courses, trips, events or any other activity are the property of Freediving Central and may not be used, shared or distributed in any capacity without approval and permission from Freediving Central.
• By taking any photos, videos or images of Freediving Central staff, Freediving Central clients or at any Freediving Central courses, trips, events or any other activity you are agreeing that Freediving Central have ownership of these images and Freediving Central decide how they can be used, shared or distributed, including but not limited to websites, social media, advertising or marketing.
• Freediving Central, at their discretion, may deem it necessary to have a formal consent form completed by all parties prior to any photos, videos or images taken of their staff, clients, courses, trips, events or at any other activity.
• Any changes to our privacy policy will be published in this privacy statement under our Terms and Conditions. Freediving Central reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time and it is your responsibility to review the statement for any changes or updates.

• Dorm accommodation – Meaning group accommodation, open plan accommodation – rooms sleeping 4 or more people. 
• Shared accommodation – Meaning shared room with up to 4 other guests. 
  
• Private accommodation – Meaning private room, for yourself, partner or whom ever the room is booked for. 

GENERAL

• All priced are quoted in Australian dollars AUD and are inclusive of GST.
• Freediving Central does not give discounted prices and does not negotiate prices.
• These Terms and Conditions are subject to change. Every agreement is subject to the Terms and Conditions as they existed at the time the agreement was made. It is your responsibility to be aware of the Terms and Conditions that exist at any given time and Freediving Central is not required to inform you as any changes are made to our Terms and Conditions.
