Freediving adventure Trip in fiji

More Than Your Average Freediving Trip

This a jam packed 5 day and 4 night trip that will take place on two of Fiji’s smallest islands – Drawaqua and Kuata.

We will spend the first 2 nights of the trip at the Barefoot Manta Island Resort on the island of Drawaqua. The resort is well known for its Manta Ray feeding site and cleaning station, where we will dive daily with these beautiful creatures, train freediving and practice breathwork.

As we don’t like to stay in any location for too long, we have arranged for a boat to take us to our next location for the second installment of the trip, Kuata Island. Here we will spend the last 3 days and 2 nights, freediving, learning about ocean conservation, planting coral, freediving with sharks and have the option of scuba diving with Bull Sharks!

The waters here are home to some of the world’s most diverse and thriving marine life with sheltered coral reefs, huge coral structures, overhangs, swim throughs and thousands of marine creatures. The clear protected, vibrant waters of this region lend itself to some of the best diving in the South Pacific!

Freediving Courses and Training

This trip is open to everyone, regardless of your freediving experience. We will be running both Level 1 and Level 2 courses during the trip, so you will be able to get yourself a fancy new freediving certifacation while you’re here

We will also be running daily line training sessions in crystal clear waters with unlimited depth and visibility up to 30 meters! Our skilled and experienced instructors will help you improve technique, develop relaxation strategies and ultimately, become a more proficient freediver. We are able to tailor these sessions to each individual, regardless of your experience level.

Now For the Bucket List Part…Scuba Diving with Bull Sharks

On the last day of our trip once the freediving is complete the optional part of the trip will begin. We are going to turn it up a notch and scuba dive with Bull Sharks!

We will take a short boat ride to the Yasawa Islands, trade our long fins for some tanks, descend under water and get up close and personal as we watch bull sharks in a feeding frenzy! This is one of the only places in the world that you can do this. Don’t worry this is totally safe and the dive is beginner friendly. We will also have our scuba diving shark guides with us at all times! Once we get back to the boat we will pull out our bucket list and tick one more adventure off it.
