QUESTION

Can I Learn Freediving If I’m Not Super Fit?

Yes. You do not need to be super fit to learn freediving.

Most beginners start with very normal fitness levels, and many are surprised by how accessible it actually is once they are in the water.

Freediving Is About Relaxation, Not Fitness

Freediving is far more about being calm, relaxed, and comfortable than it is about strength or cardio fitness. You are not racing, pushing hard, or trying to outperform anyone. In fact, the more relaxed you are, the easier freediving becomes.

In beginner courses, we move slowly and focus on breathing, body awareness, and feeling safe in the water. Depth and performance are never the goal. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and plenty of students discover they can do far more than they expected.
