What Fills the Days Between Dives on Our Trips
On our Bali trip in Amed, most mornings start with yoga, and breathwork sessions run through the week. One day is set aside for sauna and an ice bath at a local wellness venue. There is a group dinner the night before the trip starts and a goodbye dinner at the end.
Bali also includes a guided cultural day, taking in temples, rice terraces and a local village. There is an optional manta trip for anyone who wants it, and free afternoons to explore Amed at your own pace. Many guests say the time between dives is as memorable as the diving.
Our Fiji trip is a five-day, four-night stay on a private island. It includes daily yoga and meals, along with the freediving training. There is also an optional scuba dive with bull sharks for anyone who fancies it.
Every trip is different, so the mix of activities, free time and extras changes from one itinerary to the next. The common thread is choice. Activities around the diving are there to enjoy, not to tick off.
